Rookie Groomer Dave M went out for his first solo run last night and did a great job! Trail is beautiful. Great Job Dave.

Groomer Al, Groomer Bobby and Groomer Chris all ran last night. New snow we received over the last few days has helped a lot. Overall all of our trails are flat and firm with a little bit of loose snow on top as of the time of this update. South end of Carp River Truck Trail is being plowed for logging so while snow covered and definitely rideable it is thin. Also a little thin in the twistys near Cut River but still no problem riding or cooling. All of our trails will be groomed again tonight. Enjoy, be safe and ride right!

♦️ICE BRIDGE NOTE♦️

The Straits snowmobile club does not do the ice bridge to Mackinac Island. We have no input on when a tree line is put out or monitoring the conditions. Work is done by locals from the island, and it’s not an official trail. Because of this, we won’t report on conditions if they do get an ice bridge this year. If one does happen, there will be postings elsewhere from locals.
