Sledheads of Frederic – 12/31

Happy New Years eve, at least that sounds good, Just another few flakes on my windshield this morning and it was 8 degrees out. At least the lakes are making good ice for the ice fisherman. A guy was just in here that said he saw 3 sleds out up by waters. I know I would love to be out there but not in this. Years ago we always used to go riding on New years eve. That certainly isn’t going to happen this year. At most on the ground outside here I would say a half inch is stretching it….

Sledheads of Frederic – 12/29

Traditionally between Christmas and New Years its called Hell week, mostly because the businesses are all so busy and everybody works a lot of hours. Well this year its hell week because there are no people around and nobody is busy and that is hell. I am working at setting my own record breaking experience here in Sledheads. Its going to be a record low….. On the bright side it stayed about 28 all day yesterday and was down to 18 overnight and we did get a very light skiff of snow, still less than an inch. At least it has whitened it up a bit. Below I am putting a picture I took out the front door here this morning looking towards the swamp. Thanks for checking in. Pete
