TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 2/17
GTASC trails received approximately 4-6+ inches of fluffy white gold overnight. If your going to ride, do it today as the forecasted high Saturday is 38 and Sunday is 44 degrees. Please keep in mind that the trails are all ice underneath what snow we received. Hopefully, the forecasted snow this coming week holds true. Be safe out there, Ride Right, Ride Sober, Ride Safe.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Mostly sunny skies are in store for many areas south of the bridge this afternoon as low clouds may linger across the eastern U.P. through the day. Temperatures will continue to warm through the first half of the week, reaching well into the 40s and even low 50s for some on Wednesday. TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Sled Solutions >> 50 Miles on the Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club system from Peegeo's to Kalkaska and I'd give it a 8 out of 10. Trails were flat but we do have SOME dirt showing in the open areas where the sun is hitting it. Overall 95% coverage. Tomorrow is supposed to be warm again but right back below freezing. Weekend should be good to go. #traversecity #snowphotos
