TRAVERSE CITY AREA UPDATE via Grand Traverse Area Snowmobile Club – 11/30 We have been out on the trails the past two days finishing up the signage and they are now complete. Thanks to Eric, David, Dave, John, Bob, Steve and Jeff for volunteering their time to get this done. Now all we need is cold weather and snow. We receive 9 inches earlier this week. However, today we had sunshine and 46 degree temps and lost the majority of the snow. It’s time to do those dances. Dividing line between rain and snow appears to be M-32 in northern lower tonight, with a couple inches of snow over the eastern UP by morning. The dividing line should move a bit further north Monday, with the chance for a wintry mix or even a light glaze of ice for the eastern UP…though most areas will try to transition to rain or drizzle by afternoon, before snow returns late Monday night.
