Things went well last night other than a mechanical issue in South Range caused the team to turn around and head back to base up north. We have a groomer headed down now to groom from South Range to Toivola. Apologies in advance for the inconvenience.
A great shot of one of our electric chainsaws purchased with a grant from KORC – Keweenaw Outdoor Recreation Coalition, thanks again – the team has enjoyed them! The copper country is amazing!

The exception will be in the northwest wind snowbelts where up to 4” of dry fluffy snow is possible. I meant to do a video yesterday after the Storm but I spent most of the day moving snow. So we have some trees down again and hope to have them taken care of today and get back to grooming tonight. It was pretty cool meeting Todd while I was doing a trail report today.
