Things are clipping right along in the Keweenaw! Watch out for drifting today after the high winds yesterday. The guys reported great conditions across the trails last night, lower traffic has helped this week. Enjoy! Right right, safe and sober!

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Lake effect snow showers persist over the northwest wind snow belts through tonight, with the highest totals - potentially up to 4 to 7 inches - in the eastern UP. As winds turn gusty, blowing and drifting snow will be possible. Temperatures turn quite chilly tonight, with wind chills falling well below zero. I meant to do a video yesterday after the Storm but I spent most of the day moving snow. So we have some trees down again and hope to have them taken care of today and get back to grooming tonight. It was pretty cool meeting Todd while I was doing a trail report today.

Trail 109 out of Twin Lakes is in excellent condition to Hazel Swamp Road. From there to Alston we have trees down. A crew is going out today to clear the trail. Hopefully they are able to accomplish this. Please ride with caution in that area.
