Monday February 10th 2025
First off I forgot to mention that’s a silver fox hat which I picked at the 2004 Sturgis Rally.
We are getting hammered pretty good today so if you’re driving up be extra careful there’s time it’s a white out. If you’re out riding Ride Right and slow down we’ve had enough accidents this year.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Lake effect snow showers persist over the northwest wind snow belts through tonight, with the highest totals - potentially up to 4 to 7 inches - in the eastern UP. As winds turn gusty, blowing and drifting snow will be possible. Temperatures turn quite chilly tonight, with wind chills falling well below zero. The exception will be in the northwest wind snowbelts where up to 4” of dry fluffy snow is possible. I meant to do a video yesterday after the Storm but I spent most of the day moving snow. So we have some trees down again and hope to have them taken care of today and get back to grooming tonight. It was pretty cool meeting Todd while I was doing a trail report today.

Trail 109 out of Twin Lakes is in excellent condition to Hazel Swamp Road. From there to Alston we have trees down. A crew is going out today to clear the trail. Hopefully they are able to accomplish this. Please ride with caution in that area.
