Trails have been amazing the last two weeks!
James Pidgeon is out enjoying them today and in the middle of his ride. James shared these photos and said, “Making a long burn today. Started in Ontonagon, in Eagle Harbor now. High Rock is the goal and then back down the south side of the Keweenaw!”

234 inches in Toivola
8 inches of fresh snow since yesterday and it’s still snowing. Trails are groomed and very little traffic so far today. It should be a good day to ride to The Pit Stop Bar & Grill in Greenland today. I’ll be there starting at 1:00 today. Hope to see you there.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Lake effect snow showers persist over the northwest wind snow belts through tonight, with the highest totals - potentially up to 4 to 7 inches - in the eastern UP. The exception will be in the northwest wind snowbelts where up to 4” of dry fluffy snow is possible. I meant to do a video yesterday after the Storm but I spent most of the day moving snow. So we have some trees down again and hope to have them taken care of today and get back to grooming tonight. It was pretty cool meeting Todd while I was doing a trail report today.

Trail 109 out of Twin Lakes is in excellent condition to Hazel Swamp Road. From there to Alston we have trees down. A crew is going out today to clear the trail. Hopefully they are able to accomplish this. Please ride with caution in that area.
