We dodged the bullet and only received 4 inches from the storm. However the winds created some major drifts so ride with caution ⚠️ It looks like a cold one today but another warm spell for a couple days but don’t worry we still have a lot of snow.

Here are some storm totals from the US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan across the U.P. – With amounts increasing quickly for Central and Eastern U.P.
Even though the Keweenaw did not receive anywhere near the forecasted amounts of snow, the wind has been crazy!
Ryan Bennet has been out riding the past several days and despite lower total accumulations than anticipated, he has had zero complaints! Checkout some of his photos!

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via The U.P. Superior Snowmobile Club >> As our snowmobile season comes to a close, and our grooming comes to an end, we wish to thank our club officers, our groomers, all of the businesses that have supported us, and those riders that came to enjoy our trails and supported our community. It takes dedication, passion and a lot of hours to make each season a success.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Expect mostly dry weather today through Monday as a cold front exits the U.P. this morning. A few light snow showers will be possible in the higher terrain of the western half through tonight, with minimal accumulations less than an inch. Most locations will struggle to get above freezing today, with the exception of areas near Lake Michigan. Temperatures rebound above freezing on Monday. #miweather #keweenaw #westernup #marquette #munising #seney #newberry #sooExpect mostly dry weather today through Monday as a cold front exits the U.P. this morning. KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort >> So we got an 1” of snow with more snow coming starting Tuesday till Thursday! Night time temps are still staying below freezing and days looks like it 30s ❄️ The parking lots/plowed areas around here are melting down so where ever you can find snow feel free to park your sled! Here is a update from Tim & Robin who has been here for the last few days (come up throughout the winter) ❄️ North of Houghton yesterday the trails were groomed and in good shape. Thursday we rode north it was beautiful, South of Sidnaw they do get a little more rough. Iron River is where the line is drawn really bad. They are rideable but if they haven’t groomed they’re will be mogal. Some water holes and open dirt on most trails also. But you can hit a really good 10 to 20 miles without dirt or water. ❄️ Thank you for the update!! I met this awesome group today at the Mosquito during my Meet and Greet. So I sent them down trail 109 to Alston and the second pic is what they made for me to enjoy when I groom again. Thanks for supporting Western UP Trail Reports and I hope you find me next year when your up riding.

A clipper will spread a mix of rain, snow, and freezing rain across the area this morning, changing to all rain from west to east as temperatures climb above freezing in the afternoon, reaching as high as the mid 50s in the west. A cold front then drops across the U.P. and brings another round of mixed precip tonight, changing to all snow towards Sunday morning. Generally expect minimal snow amounts across most of the U.P., but some spots in the Keweenaw and the east could pick up 1-3” through Sunday morning.
