Here you go your December 27 trail report! With the warm up are the trails perfect? No! Are there wet spots? Yes! Are they still rideable and tons of fun? Yes! With more snow on the way we are really setting up a great base! Lots of traffic too so be safe!! We will post updates as the snow comes! Some predictions are saying 2 plus feet! ❄

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Northwest winds will subside through the the day with partly to mostly cloudy skies. Lake effect snow showers are expected in the northwest wind snowbelts, especially over the eastern U.P. where 1 to 3 inches of snowfall is expected. The weather has been pretty crazy the past week and a half. Hopefully it will settle down and stay cold for the month of March. Looks like another busy weekend with the hill climbs in South Range. Plus the dog sled races in the Keweenaw.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Strong westerly winds develop this afternoon and evening, with winds gusting up to 60 mph in the Keweenaw and 45 mph for the remainder of the northern UP near the Superior shoreline. Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines. Power outages are possible. Travel could be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles.
