MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 1/21

Well just like clockwork, the traffic volume drops, the new snow gets a couple passes, and the trails become excellent! Snow set hard and smooth last night! You won’t find a better time to ride than now! Unfortunately, snowmobiles are not the only ones that think that….. *CAUTION* Broke ORV just west of the 417/8 intersection taking up half the trail! Good thing they didn’t break in a narrow section! No timeline on when they will ruin a few miles of trail trying to retrieve it.
Truck was removed from the Sawyer Spur and trail fixed already.
Please be aware that there are people that don’t care about you’re safety by taking things out on the trail that are over half as wide as the trail. They may be just around any corner leaving you with no options.
Ride Right, ride SMART, ride SAFE!

Munising Area Trail Report – 01/19

MUNISING AREA UPDATE via TNT Trenary Northern Trails – 1/19

We don’t like saying the trails are bad, but they are. New snow and drifts with really high volume of traffic has the trail rough. Our operator Gary spent 13 hours last night trying to smooth it out, but it never had time to set up with the high traffic. Grooming operations will continue every night so when the traffic volume drops off, you can expect excellent mid week trail conditions!

<>

Grooming has been wide open as of late! New snowfall has made the trail absolutely beautiful. We are still cutting a few branches out of the way as we go so be cautious if you see the groomer stopped on the trail. The operator may be removing low hanging branches or trees that are leaning into the trail. We are also working every pass to knock down the banks in the corners. Please be sure to visit the businesses on our trail as they are all awesome supporters of us and the snowmobile community! Keep your calendar open for Jan 29th for Sled Night at the Throttle in Little Lake! They gladly put us on as the recipient for that night! Come see us starting at 6pm! Many raffle prizes sponsored by Meyer Yamaha and Mucked Up! Ride Right and Ride Safe!
