Newberry Trail Report – 02/20

Received a lot of snow in the past 24 hours. Newberry 8 inches and farther north near Tahquamenon Falls and Pine Stump area over a foot. Temperatures will be in the 30’s by the weekend.

Trail #9 is in very good to excellent condition up to Pine Stump/Holland Lake staging area.

Trail #45 is plowed from Skyline Road to the north 3 miles for logging. USE EXTREME CAUTION IN THE PLOWED AREA WHERE THEY ARE LOGGING. This area is very icy with dips in the trail please be careful.The largest dip just north of the Skyline Road was repaired last week. The rest of the trail is in very good to excellant condition.

Trail #9/2 to Epoufette/ Trout Lake is in very good condition. The trail to Epoufette is in very good condition. Trail #473 to Trout Lake is in good condition.

Newberry Trail Report – 02/18

Our groomers are out everyday on all three trails.

Trail #9 is in very good to excellent condition up to Pine Stump/Holland Lake staging area.

Trail #9/2 to Epoufette/ Trout Lake is in very good condition. The trail to Epoufette is in very good condition. Trail #473 to Trout Lake is in good condition, the snow is thin along the railroad tracks to Trout Lake.

THE NORTH STORE ON CO. RD. 407,WILL BE OPEN THIS YEAR.

The curfew for the Village of Newberry is 11:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M.

FYI: There will not be gas at Rainbow Lodge as they are closed due to the Duck Lake fire. There is a gas pump logo on the trail map, but they will be CLOSED.
