Trail #9 Open past 3 mile staging area. Trail has not been groomed yet.
Trail #45 Closed on the Charcoal Grade
Trail #9/2 South trail is open but not groomed yet.
Snowmobile season starts December 1, 2014. The gates will remain closed in on private land. Gates that are closed are by the staging area in Newberry and Trail #45. All other areas are open. Due to all the rain we have received this fall and wet snow many of the trails have large water holes that are not frozen. Please be careful in the swamps that are not frozen.
It is cold today, Monday the 1st but our weather is to warm up this week in the 30’s during the day time hours and 20’s at night.
We do not groom in the village, and the curfew in the village is 11 P.M. to 7 A.M.
THE NORTH STORE ON CO. RD. 407 OPEN THIS YEAR.

Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association Report
Due to the sun and warmer temperatures the snow is getting thin on the alley and streets in the village.
Trail #9 has 12-36 inches on the ground and is reported to be in good to excellent condition.
Trail #45 has 12-36 inches on the ground and is reported to be in good to excellent condition,
Trail #9/2 is reported in very good condition with 12-24 inches of snow on the ground.
We groomed over 5300 miles in February.
The club will be grooming the trails until March 31, 2014.

Last Grooming: Trails are groomed everyday
Current Trail Conditions: Good to Excellent

The North Store is open this year.
Rainbow Lodge on Trail #8 is CLOSED. There is a gas pump logo on the new trail map at Rainbow Lodge, as the map went to print before I new they were closing.
There is no gas between the lower falls and Pine Stump Jct.
