NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE – February 28, 2016 – via North Store Follow Me Outfitters – Well we lost some snow but that snow dance I did last night might have worked. We have a good 3′ of snow since this morning and still coming down. The week looking good to for snow. Thanks for a great winter so far, it great see all you snow junkies. North Trail #9 Pine Stump Jct./Seney/Grand Marais This trail is in good condition.
Trail #45 to the Falls/Paradise Trail is in good condition.
South Trail #9/2 to Epoufette/Trout Lake Trail is in good condition.
All 3 groomers were out last night grooming the trails and will be out again today. We received snow yesterday and it is snowing today. We needed new snow for the trails and the streets in town. Just for everyone’s information our groomers leave Newberry between 1:00 and 3:00 p.m. and return in the early morning hours.
