Newberry Trail Report – 02/03

Trails holding up better than previous Saturday’s thanks to a solid base. Some moguls showing, lots of sleds leaving Newberry so enjoy the trails while they’re halfway smooth, groomers will be heading out soon!

TASA REPORT – February 3, 2018

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR GROOMERS LEAVE NEWBERRY AT 2:00 IN THE AFTERNOON TO GROOM. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THE GROOMERS.

We received about 5 inches of snow yesterday and the weather forecast is calling for lake effect until tomorrow morning. Due to the amount of traffic and lack of snow our trails are not holding up all day long you will be experience rough conditions.

All 3 groomers are up and running and will be on the trails today.

North Trail #9 Trail is in good condition until noon and fair until the groomer leaves Newberry.

Trail #45 This trail is in good condition until noon. Groomer will be on n the trail by 2:00. Trail #45 has 3 plowed areas from the Skyline to Laurel Lakes Road, Camp 7 road near M-123 and between CR 500 and M-123. Please note the plowed areas can get bumpy and watch for the logging trucks.

South Trail #9/2 This trail is in good condition. Thus trail has less snow and usually less traffic. Groomer will be on the trail this afternoon.

Newberry Trail Report – Visit Newberry – 01/31

3-4" of fresh snow, trails through town have good coverage again! Groomers heading out now.

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR GROOMERS LEAVE NEWBERRY AT 2:00 IN THE AFTERNOON TO GROOM. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THE GROOMER. PLEASE SLOW DOWN IN THE CORNERS THIS IS WHERE THE MAJORITY OF THE ACCIDENTS OCCUR.

It is snowing this morning and we are expected to receive 3 to 5 inches of new snow.

North Trail #9 Trail is in good condition.
