TASA REPORT – March 7, 2018

PLEASE NOTE THAT OUR GROOMERS LEAVE NEWBERRY AT 2:00 IN THE AFTERNOON TO GROOM. PLEASE WATCH OUT FOR THE GROOMERS.

We are expecting snow over the next 2 days with a possibility of 3 inches. Our nights are cold so our trails are holding up. You cannot ride of out of Newberry but there are 2 staging areas – one by the RR tracks and 3 miles north of town (Silver Creek Staging Area).

North Trail #9 Trail is in fair condition. This trail is being groomed everyday but please the corners are icy due to the warm days and cold nights. The trail is plowed starting at CR 415 and CR 422 to the west for logging.

Trail #45 This trail is in fair condition. This trail is being groomed each day but please be careful of the icy corners.

South Trail #9/2 This trail is in fair condition. This trail is not being groomed due to the lack of snow. This trail does have a lot of ice so please be careful. There are water holes 4 to 5 miles north of Epoufette.
