We enjoyed a very nice ride from Rays’ over to Lovells. Sunshine and blue skies all the way. It was hard to believe that further south of us such a nasty winter storm was brewing. We headed north on trail 7 crossing the highway just by Extreme, and going east and then back south to Lovells. On thru Hanson Hills and home thru Frederick. It was a great ride. Alot of the trail looked freshly groomed, rode nice most of the way. Trail 7 just past the state park had a short section of rolling bumps. Over Lovells way there was a section where the trail/road had been plowed for the oil trucks. That section was rough and dirt showing where it had been plowed. It was also thru this area that we found some icy corners.
It is looking like we will be getting some snow from the big winter storm. Right now they are saying 3-5 inches, but we are right on the edge of the 5-10 inches. And you can guess what we are hoping for! …
Enjoy some great trails before the holiday weekend crowds of Martin Luther King Day. Get on up here to ride. If you need more than a room to make it happen, we also have Ski Doo snowmobiles for rent. Give us a call 989-732-4914 or 989-732-2703
