We are experiencing the best conditions of the season as we have received more than 22 inches of snow in the last 3 days, with more snow and cold temp in the forecast! If you can get away for one last blast – it is strongly recommended (check out Tom’s report at www.berglandbaybar.com). We’ve running our March Madness Special through the end of the month – so pack gear and get away to LAKE GOGEBIC. Great trails, great conditions, great rates. That, and a beef sandwich is more than any one person could ask for!!

We are riding up to the Lake of the Clouds today, so check back for some photos of our ride and our trail report! We are looking forward to enjoying a amazing day!!

Grand Traverse Snowmobile Club – 03/15

The groomers have been out the last two days, trails are in good condition for this time of year. There are some wet spots to watch out for, on the west trail about a mile before you get to the fairgrounds there is a water hole that takes up the whole trail and is quite deep, be on the lookout for it. Groomers will be going out on their regular schedule as long as there is something to groom. Should be a good weekend for riding, hope to see you out there.

Just talked to the groomer, he’s down by Fife Lake. He says the trails are in pretty good shape, some standing water in places especially the corners. He has seen a lot of sleds on the trails, so remember if you go riding watch for wet areas and be careful some areas might be icy.
