KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports….
Brent Mason chose to ride south of the Portage Lake Lift Bridge yesterday and seems to agree with other riders that the south end has a bit better conditions….. Brent shared these photos and comments, “Great day of riding from Houghton, Michigan to Mass City, Michigan and back. Keweenaw Snowmobile Club trail from Houghton to Toivola was absolutely awesome!!”
Thanks for sharing Brent and we are so glad you were still able to enjoy your trip despite the deterioration the warm up took on the trails! …..

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Expect mostly clear skies across much of the UP tonight, with cold temperatures giving way to another day of highs in the 20s to near 30 degrees on Sunday. We've been busy setting up everything for tomorrow's Backcountry Village big event. Gates will open around 9am, ride out at 2pm, and the the freestyle show at 4pm. Come visit the Western UP Trail Reports booth just to the left of the stage.
