Ontonagon Trail Report – Scott’s Superior Inn – 02/18

We got 2-4′ of fresh snow, which helped alot, still a little tough getting in and out of towns, but possible, the other issue is sugar snow that doesn’t pack real good. So even though our groomers are out every night, it does’nt take alot of sleds to make them rough again. Calling for warmer temps next week again, so that’s not going to help. If you’re looking for lodging we offer a complete line of cabins, suites, and motel rooms, all at very affordable prices. Check out Scott’s Superior Inn for your lodging needs (906) 884-4866

We are offering a 25% discount on all lodging, every day, no min. stay!!!!!

Gaylord Area Trail Report – Ray’s Retreat Country Inn – 02/18

Fresh snow this morning. A few new inches of heavy wet snow will start the day’s riding. We have a full motel of riders. Heard no complaints last night. Everyone is aware that in spots it is down to the dirt. Waterholes in some areas to skirt around. The general consenus is that they just want to be able to ride on some snow. It seems this year if you wait for great conditions you might not have the opportunity to get out and ride. Sounded like the best ride yesterday was east to Lovells. Those that went on to Lewiston report that the Lewiston trail was in very poor condition
