It has steadily been snowing since early this morning. At this time we have 3+ inches of new snow. The trail conditions are improving quickly. As the snow continues things will only get better. Much of the trail still had ice base with snow on it so those areas are good. Spots where it was down to the dirt are completely snow covered now. Falling snow will pack in which should make for some great trail riding this weekend. Let’s go riding!
If you are looking for a place to stay where there is ample trailer parking and you can park your sled directly outside your motel room door then Ray’s Retreat is the place for you. Good Morning .. 9:00am Friday …. O wind & temp is 28 and was down to 24 overnight..and not expected to get over 32 today…on a cooling trend….. no new snow… and the ‘impending sunday storm’ is downplayed,,, but we are having n.w. Winds today , this should give us ‘lake effect’ snows…… we will see what the weather guessers do with this…????

Trails are still in fair shape with the 2.5 inches we received over the last 2 days… groomer Ben
