HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 04/13
2025 Ice Storm Damage. The destruction to our trail system is overwhelming, and it will take an army to clean it up. Whether you ride these trails on a snowmobile, side by side, four-wheeler, drive them in your truck, hunt these woods, walk, or bike them, we will need your help. We have a meeting this Thursday at the Harbor Barn with the Mud Brothers & Beach’s Up North Tavern to get plans together for a trail clean up on 4/26.

WEATHER UPDATE via Michigan Storm Chasers >> Snow and ice return tonight, and continue through midday April 4th, 2026. Snow totals will be the highest yet again into the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula. This time last year, we weren’t even sure that we would have a season after the historic ice storm that destroyed much of our trail system.
Fast forward to now… we just wrapped up a RECORD season! For the first time in years, we were able to groom pretty consistently from the very first weekend all the way to the end. What an incredible turnaround.
A HUGE thank you to our Groomer Operators: Bryan, Dale, Chance, Cody, Evan, Jim, Nick, & Thomas — you guys absolutely crushed it this year! 👏
