Meltdown is not what we want to see. Weather thru next tuesday is pretty much in upper 30s, things are icy and melting. It never fails that we have great snow and then in a few days it starts to leave us. Riding on sunday and monday was some of the best snow we have had in years. Lets see what things look like after a few days of this. Its wednesday morning about 10:30 in the morning and 35 degrees. All we can do is wait but here are some pics from riding sunday and monday. 2 pics are around my building and parking lot. Looking a little slick. Thanks for checking in. Pete

WEATHER UPDATE via Michigan Storm Chasers >> Snow and ice return tonight, and continue through midday April 4th, 2026. Snow totals will be the highest yet again into the Keweenaw Peninsula. It's almost a carbon copy of today. Ice totals, however, are primarily a concern for the Upper Peninsula. FREDERIC - GAYLORD AREA UPDATE via Sledheads of Frederic , Michigan Snowmobiling >> That's a Wrap on the 25-26 Sled Season - Well here we are up to March 31, 2026 and the end of the season with more snow that we have seen in a long , long time. Still alot to melt off here in Frederic, Piles were huge and so very rock hard its still gonna take them a while to melt down. The good thing about all the snow was that it spread the riders out all thru the state which made for a much safer season. Even with that there were still 12 deaths with only 4 in the lower and the rest in the u.p. In looking at the sledview camera north of Gayord the trail is still covered with snow... #gaylord #snowphotos
