SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 12/15 Not a lot of snow, as expected. Maybe 2-3” of wet snow. Good for packing for sure. We need a lot more to be able to open the gates and start grooming. AccuWeather says we’re supposed to get 4-8” by tomorrow but I’ll believe it when I see it. Gates are still closed for now. You can get around the ones on Trail 8 but I would say it’s definitely not worth potentially messing up your machine. It’s coming.
