From Phil-I also ran some of our South run this afternoon. Trail 443 to the trail 88 Tee, (approximately 12 miles of 443 ) then trail 88 to Hwy M77 the pickerel lake parking lot.
So Trail 443 along airport Rd and McCloud grade Roads are decent. But that 6 mile section from McCloud Rd to trail 88 has nasty hard moguls at almost every inside corner. There’s plenty of snow, I only seen 2 bare spots. Again with this cold weather, expect hard rough trail condition. It’s still nice out there.
Pic is trail 88
Two groomers out this morning, grooming east and west. South groomed yesterday.

We're starting off the day with snow/sleet across the eastern half of the U.P. Wind gusts will still be at times strong around 40 mph. This will still cause limited visibility near Lake Superior and some power outages. Snow accumulations will be lower with up to around 6.0" in the eastern counties.
