WOW! ALL of the reports from other riders are coming in outstanding! The trails on Michigan’s Keweenaw Peninsula are in excellent condition!
Brent Mason shared some photos and a few comments on the first days of his trip! Brent said, “One of my most favorite places to ride a snowmobile is in the Keweenaw! The snow is amazing and the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club does an amazing job taking care of their trails and Keweenaw Trail Reports, keeping us all updated! I put on 350 miles so far on the Keweenaw trails this weekend and I saw a lot of grooming operations and smooth trails! Huge thank you to the Groomer Operators !🤟”
Brent also said, “I want to give a shout out to a few of the awesome places we stopped also, Lac La Belle Lodge / Bear Belly Pit Stop super awesome place and awesome owners! Gay bar in Gay was really cool. Copper Harbor Fuel Stop is always a great fuel and convenience store stop – cool place. The The Mariner North and Eagle Harbor Inn for excellent food and drink! Slim’s Cafe in Mohawk has the best breakfast! Vansville Bar for fuel and an awesome view of the cliffs across the street! We stayed at the Super 8 in Houghton, along the canal and now we are still at Parkview – New Lodge and Grill for some more riding! Both of those lodging establishments are great places to stay! We stopped at so many wonderful places, it’s hard to mention them all! I’m thankful for all of the local businesses that make riding the Keweenaw even more enjoyable!”
Thank YOU Brent for taking the time to share your photos and review on the trails and local establishments! We love to be able to post the experiences that other riders have! Enjoy another great day out there riding some of the best and most scenic trails in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula!

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports >> Chasing snow has definitely been the norm this season and you had to be ready to leave with a moments notice. We can all hope next year will be nothing like this year! ‘Snownlyfans’ decided yesterday to chase some snow himself, from Sebewaing to Mass City - an 8 hour drive! After arriving last night at Adventure Motel, Snownlyfans got started early this morning and rode from Mass City to Houghton, Houghton to Sidnaw and back to Mass City! He already has 195 miles on today. Snownlyfans shared some photos and comments on riding. He said, “Can’t tell you his much snow I was pushing with my bumper from Mass City to Krupp's Mini Mart, but it’s DEEP! Continued up to the South Range Pub, but it was closed 😩 Rode up to Houghton and then back south. Tried to ride into Sidnaw but unfortunately some of the trail was plowed. Oh well…..195 mile day!” Thanks for sharing Snownlyfans! Glad you were able to get some throttle therapy in!
