Newberry Trail Report – 01/05
The trails have groomed out nice since the busy weekend. The cold and little bit of snow we received the other day has help tremendously. There is more snow on the way tonight and throughout tomorrow and then off and on for the remainder of the week. A friendly reminder that ATV’s/ORV’s are NOT permitted on the groomed snowmobile trails. The observation of the trail conditions are based on the amount of snow and traffic. 85% or better of the trail system is good. There are good spots and bad spots, however the majority of the bad is just the large amount of traffic. The wet spots are freezing. Temperatures will remain cold this week which will continue to help freeze it in. As always we want to encourage safe and responsible riding!! Please ride with caution. Ride Right and Be Safe!! Trail 9: Groomed last night. Newberry to the Wolf Inn is Fair. The Wolf Inn North is Fair to Good. Trail 45: Trail was groomed last night. Beyond the 500 across the swamp is not frozen enough to open the gate. CAUTION AREA!!!! There is logging off of Trail 45 before Camp Snort. Trial 9/2 South: Groomed last night to Trout Lake. There is a water spot along the tracks between H-40 and Trout Lake Use CAUTION! Freezing back in but still use caution! Your grooming team from the TASA Barn!! Curfew in the Village of Newberry is 11:00pm to 7:00am. <> IMPORTANT UPDATE PLEASE READ <> Visit Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association Trail Report <> Visit Tahquamenon Area Snowmobile Association on Facebook <> Visit Newberry Area Tourism Association on Facebook <> <> Latest Trail Reports – Quick Links <>
