KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western Up Trail Reports…. Some pic’s of today’s run. Cold and clear today with very little traffic. They say it’s the calm before the storm I guess and I hope so. We have received anywhere from 8-10 inches of fresh snow so far the first 3 days of January and have at least 8 additional inches in the forecast for tomorrow into Wednesday! We've been busy setting up everything for tomorrow's Backcountry Village big event. Gates will open around 9am, ride out at 2pm, and the the freestyle show at 4pm. Come visit the Western UP Trail Reports booth just to the left of the stage.

Looks like Saturday is going to be the nicest day in the past 2 weeks, 20° and partly cloudy. So if you're coming up this weekend the trails are in very good shape and warmer temps.
