Paradise Area Trail Report – 01/03
January 3, 2022 3 degrees this morning with a clear sky. It snowed on and off all day yesterday, sometimes really hard. I`d say we picked up a solid 6 inches. Pretty fluffy stuff but I love it! We are ready to kick `er into gear so here we go……. Groomer Mike C. ran the Pine Stump trail # 8 yesterday and called it good with just a few thin spots. I`m heading out the door shortly to run trail #45 to the Falls again. Hopefully I can get `er opened up! Not sure who`s available today to run any other trail, da boss will get on the phone to check. I`m really thinking by the end of this week I`ll be ready to throw up the green flag!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So be ready, start making your reservations. Minus 5 degrees this morning under a cloudy sky. No new snow in the last 24 hrs. but we do have about 3 feet of snow on the ground so no worries...LOL. Here`s whats been happening since my last report a couple days ago......
No bad news...the machines have been running beautifully....Mother Nature has been cooperating perfectly....and our trails are EXCELLENT!!!!
The Falls trail #45, the Point trails #452 & #453 and the South trail #8 all fall into that catagory. The only blip on the radar is on the Pine Stump trails #8 & #9 but it is only minor. Our section of trail #9 is still being plowed down from the Stump to the East branch of the Two Heart by the loggers. It is no big deal, just take trail #8 around instead of #9, just like the old days. Its a touch longer but you`re out there to enjoy the ride.....right? On the bright side, they are done up by Crisp Point but it will take us a couple trips to get that back in great shape.
Where is everybody?? Its been awful slow around here. COME ON U.P., You are missing out!!

9 degrees this morning and snowing. I picked up 5-6" of fresh snow on my deck from last night and it looks like its supposed to snow for the next couple of days too!!!
Our entire system was groomed yesterday and there`s only one way to describe it......EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now, those of you who follow me know I don`t use that word very often, but I ain`t kiddin, it doesn`t get any better than this. The swamp south of town, the Falls trail, ALL of our low land trails are better than I`ve seen in a long time!!!!!
If you don`t have plans on gettin U.P. here.....make `em. It won`t last forever.
