KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western Up Trail Reports…. I finally got a day off so I just had to video Justin Rogan covering my end today. Looks like some Cold weather Sat. Sun. with snow in the forecast. We did pick up a little over 5" the last couple days but with high traffic it’s hard to keep the trails in tip top shape. Only spot that was thin was at the top of Brockway Mountain. Trail 3 was a bit bumpy coming back tonight. We've been busy setting up everything for tomorrow's Backcountry Village big event. Gates will open around 9am, ride out at 2pm, and the the freestyle show at 4pm. Come visit the Western UP Trail Reports booth just to the left of the stage.

Looks like Saturday is going to be the nicest day in the past 2 weeks, 20° and partly cloudy. So if you're coming up this weekend the trails are in very good shape and warmer temps.
