MUNISING AREA UPDATE via Alger County Sorva – 12/27 TRAIL REPORT – Monday, December 27, 2021 7:10am TRAILS ARE HOLDING ON TIGHT! Our trail system is holding up with overall fair to good conditions, poor in towns and near roadways. We lost quite a bit of snow Friday night and Saturday and temperatures dropped making for some areas of icy conditions. As of this morning we have a dusting of light new snow with Grooming Operations still on hold as we wait for more to work with. When out riding be conservative to reduce base damage and watch for ice. Make note that Sled traffic will most likely be high with the amount of arrivals observed late yesterday. We will be watching temperatures and snow conditions closely with grooming operations resuming as soon as possible. Mother Nature seems to be all mixed up so do some serious Cold Weather Snow Dancing. Stay Tuned as we continue to report changing trail conditions.
