SAULT STE. MARIE UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association – 05/02

Happy May everyone!

Volunteers Ryan, Pete, Brian, and Steve went out today and did some more trail maintenance. Here’s Steve’s report….

“We were able to update more 911 signs and repair lots of winter damaged signs. We picked up lots of trash along the routes too.
Trail 8 from the Soo to Ranger Rd is completed. We also finished Trail 889 in Bay Mills. We were able to do Trail 480 from Raco to Rudyard.

It was a very productive day and near perfect weather.
The highlight of the day may have been the discovery of a small pile of snow just west of Bay Mills🤣
Steve”

We could still use volunteers to go out and pick up trash along the trails. Every little bit helps as it is a never ending job.
Thank you to all of our dedicated volunteers and our members that help support us all year long!

SAULT STE. MARIE AREA UPDATE via Sault Ste. Marie Snowmobile Association >> 1/19/26
Jay and I hit the city trails last night and they are in good shape. Some choppy spots due to heavier traffic earlier, but we smoothed them out as best we could and saw very little traffic on our run.
Snow was falling the whole run and should be a beautiful ride in the morning.
Enjoy! ❄️❄️❄️ #soo #soo0119 #snowphotos
