Trails really took hit with a warm Monday. With a few days forecast in the 40’s, the Pisten Bully groomed its way back to our headquarters in Shingleton. The Groomer Operator reported a flat trail with wet snow and fair results. Most of our Trail System is in Overall Fair condition as of last night but getting icy in sections and the outlying areas in poor condition are expanding. Trail 8 from Shingleton West to Trail 417 is really flat with little chop in areas. Trail 417 to Brownstone Intersection and Trail 7 from 2 miles South of Christmas South to Buckhorn Road and Trail 418 are in Fair condition and a bit choppy. Trail 7 South and Trail 419 from Wetmore to Munising are in poor condition. In the towns and along highways you will be finding dirty snow and bare spots. Trail 8 North of Shingleton is in Poor condition due to large bare sections for the first 4 miles heading North. With a few days of high temps coming grooming operations are currently on hold.
