CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Cadillac Winter Promotions – 02/17 Just got back from grooming! I hit Trail 6 East & West, as well as 677, 687 around Caberfae. By far the best conditions I’ve groomed yet this year, with the only Snirt being small areas of 6 West, west of Caberfae Rd. Not many riders out today, which makes for easier grooming… Lots of Thumbs UP from the few riders I did see. Reminder to please pull off trail and stop when seeing a groomer, as we are not supposed to pass any moving sleds. Temps are getting back to more normal range in the coming week. Shown below is the expected 24-hour snowfall accumulation from 7pm today through 7pm Friday, along with the 24-hour snowfall from 7am Saturday through 7am Sunday. The 12-hour "gap" in between those two periods is the lull between the two waves of snow, when not much is expected to happen. And the snowmelt from the warm spell today should largely have ceased by then. More snow is also expected after 7am on Sunday and even into Monday, but it's a bit too early to call the snow amounts for that time period. Unfortunately, we're in the midst of another January warm up. We were able to groom Sunday & Monday and get most trails smooth. So we're hoping people will stay off the trails until temperatures get below freezing. We are expecting some 40 degree temps in the next couple of days, with snow back in the forecast by Saturday. #cadillac #snowphotos
