KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Western & Southern UP Trail Reports – 01/27
Today was a little different for grooming. I hit the trail a little before 6am and the trails where still set up hard and flat. Glenn and I decided to leave well enough alone and I returned to the barn. When I got home I jumped on my sled and ran to Krupps for a breakfast burrito then backtracked towards Painsdale. The trail was starting to get a little choppy. So I returned to the groomer around 1pm and flattened the trail from Toivola to Atlantic Mine.
Just to keep everyone updated with my honest opinion of trail conditions, they are in great shape from Twin Lakes to Hancock. Since I’ve rode on them both grooming and on me sled it’s about as accurate report I can give ya. See what tomorrow brings me. Livin the Yooper dream.

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Keweenaw Trail Reports – 01/26
Trails are amazing today in the Keweenaw! Took Portage Lake to the Dreamland Trail. The Dreamland trail is now groomed and open with trees marking the Lake Crossing. Then, took 122 to gay. Not a single track on the freshly groomed trail on 122. Then, 124 towards Vansville Bar. Only saw 5 sleds in one group so far for the entire day.
Trails are in the best shape I have seen in a long time. Shout out to the Keweenaw Snowmobile Club Groomers! – Ben

KEWEENAW PENINSULA UPDATE via Krupps Resort >> Please when behind a groomer wait for them to flash lights for you to pass, this is for everyone’s safety. When approaching a groomer try to pull off to the side as far as you or ride as far off to the side as safe as you can. Please stay on your side of the trail, even more so try not to cross over onto freshly groomed trails. The longer it sets the better riding it is for you & others. Ride Right. Ride Safely.
