Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 01/02
Hoping to make it thru the next couple of days and then winter should be on its way back. Sled traffic was a little above slow yesterday and I would have thought more people would be out. I had many calls asking about how it was and I said to get here and do it right now. Still good out this morning and riders yesterfday actually reported great as can be trails on trail 7 to north of waters and then trail 4 great out to the Settings at lakes of the north. Even a groomer sighting up that way and even saw the gaylord groomer here in frederic yesterday. Weatherman is saying 40s today and tommorow. Its 11 now and only up to 36 and not as sunny as it was yesterday so hoping for not much melt off…….Tiime will tell. Also heard of an accident that happened up near intersection of 7 and 4 trails. Dont know any more than that except that there was a tree involved. Also it was good to have a visit from Dixie the Beagle yesterday. Thanks for checking in.
