Frederic / Gaylord Area Trail Report – Sledheads of Frederic – 02/11
It’s 29 degrees and things have been steady here in Frederic since I walked in at 9. There is a fun run registration over at the Swamp so their parking lot has been busy since 10:30. No new snow overnight and no matter what the weather does today I can already see its going to be very busy. Trailer counts this morning were 8 at Motel 72, only 2 at the Days Inn and 42 at the Ramada in Grayling. Last night I saw both grayling groomers come thru Frederic about 7, and saw one of them going thru grayling earlier this morning. Had some guys in here that already had come over here from Lewiston reporting great riding. Pictures below are of a Mach 1 that burned up last night currently setting out front of Sledheads. Nobody hurt but just a pile of scrap now. The fire happened on the trail up near Starvation Lake yesterday afternoon. Thanks for checking in.
