NEWBERRY AREA UPDATE via Trails End Lodging >> 03/13 Beautiful day for a ride! <> <> FROM Pine Stump >> 03/13 I wanted to get some videos of the trail today but I had a little mishap so that’s not possibleWe are working on preparing for the vintage show on Saturday. The show will happen rain or shine. I know there’s some rain in the forecast but hopefully that avoids us as it typically does!If you want to get another ride in I would take a chance on this weekend. There’s a lot of snow up this way still. Towns will be tough to navigate. Uncertainty still remains where this snowband will park, however, heavy snowfall rates will likely create difficult travel along US-41 from Delta to Marquette/Alger counties. Tonight, widespread snow transitions to lake effect snow for the north wind snowbelts. Around 4 inches of snow last night. I see the groomers all made it out. I would guess the trails should freeze up flat now.
I would imagine it will be lower traffic during the week. It would be a pretty good week to ride if you can sneak away! #newberry #snowphotos
