Paradise Area Trail Report – 02/28

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 02/28

2/28/25
Well, it looks like winter has decided to return! The last couple of days the temps have been in the 30`s, day and night. This morning it is 21 degrees and snowin and blowin HARD. We are under a winter storm warning and “they” are saying anywhere from 4-10″….hmmmmm. As far as the trails….here ya go…..

Groomer Keith hit the Pine Stump trails 8 and 9 yesterday/last night and called them good.

Groomer Ben hit the Point trails 452 and 453 and called them good to go.

Groomer Mike C. hit the south trail 8 and called that good also.

I haven`t heard from the guy that hit the Falls trail 45 but I gotta assume that it is good to go too. We will hit every trail today again and for the weekend then see what happens with the temps. They are supposed to go up again in the beginning of the week for a few days.

All trails are flat cause we can groom with the warmer temps but hard due to the temps turning colder. This snow sure will help with lubrication tho. The warmer weather the last few days did take a toll on the plowed connector dirt roads. They are down to mud….frozen mud now….so a little tough…but only very short distances.

COME ON U.P.!!!!!! Time is runnin out!!!!! There is still A LOT of snow in the woods but It looks like March will be a cycle of warm/cold/warm/cold, so ya never know what will happen next.

LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Groomer Chris
