PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 02/26
2/26/25 20 degrees this morning under a bright blue sky. Supposed to get into the mid 30`s today…..bummer….but cool off into the low 20`s at night….that`ll help. Here`s your trail report from yesterday, as promised.
Groomer Keith ran the Pine Stump trails #8 & #9 and called them good. The short sections of plowed dirt road we use as connecter sections are down to mud tho.
Groomer Mike H. ran the Point trails #452 & #453 and called them good still.
I haven`t heard from the groomer that ran the Falls trail #45 this morning yet but I`m sure its fine.
I ran the South trail #8 and will call it good also. The swamp south of town gave me a slight problem tho. At the southern end by the gate it started to open up in a few spots. The water was really flowing thru there from Mondays 46 degree day! I`m heading out the door as soon as I finish this and fix that. I will take just a machine and go fill in the wash outs with snow. I did find a bag and a couple other things in the swamp trail. Message us on our FB page and describe the contents and the other stuff and we`ll get it back to ya!
Sooooo…..there ya go…..as promised
LET `ER SNOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Groomer Chris
P.S. – I just heard from Groomer Glen who ran the Falls trail #45. He called it good but it is gettin narrow in a couple spots where the water holes are. Soooo…..there you have it…a complete report. Groomer Chris

PARADISE AREA UPDATE via Paradise Area Night Riders www.paradiseareanightriders.org >> 12/14/25 10 degrees this morning and cloudy. Mother Nature FINALLY blessed us with a good dumping of snow! We have picked up a solid foot or more in the last 36 hrs. and its been COLD. Following up from my last report......the tech did finally make it out and went through our computer problems on all 3 machines. 2 of them are up and runnin good now and we just got the parts we need for the third one and that will be good to go today. Now, on to whats been happinin with the trails...... Yesterday we took 2 machines with 4 guys but no drags and headed south on trail #8. We skipped the swamp just south of town and started at the river mouth. We ran across just some minor water holes at the south end of the power line and a touch more severe in the Federal Forest section. We kept the gates closed in the Federal Forest section to give that a chance to tighten up. Tomorrow we are gonna send the same set up around the Point Trails #452 & #453. The other machine will hit the Pine Stump trail #8 doing a full groom. After we see how all that goes we will hit the Falls trail #45 hopefully by the end of the week. I`m sure ya`ll have seen we have a slight warm up coming this Tues. for a couple days so that will dictate what we do on the Falls trail and the Swamp south of town. All I have for now Groomer Chris #paradise #newberry ... See MoreSee Less
