CADILLAC AREA UPDATE via Coyote Crossing Resort >> 01/16 New Snow Last 24 hrs: 2-3″ Conditions: Fair – Good Base: 1-3″ Hello! Cadillac Winter Promotions went out the beginning of this week to smooth out some areas, but will not be grooming regularly until we get a little more base established. Temps and forecast do look favorable for Winter weather! Reports are generally favorable from Coyote north to Thompsonville. I rode to Mesick Tuesday night and conditions were generally good! We’re glad we’ve got some fresh snow for this upcoming holiday weekend. However, I’m more frustrated about hunters being on the snowmobile trails while grooming, but I understand this is not illegal. This just makes it harder to find volunteer groomers when they get rutted so fast, and it’s a safety hazard for snowmobilers as well. It doesn't get much better than this! I've been riding in this area for over 45 years, and can't remember better base/conditions than we have right now. I groomed yesterday, Trail 37 south to Trail 35, and north to Trail 637. #cadillac #snowphotos
