Video taken Thursday night at 10:15PM on spur north of Trail 6! Trails are in good condition overall! There are a few wet/rutted spots, which we hope will be taken care of with some grooming efforts over the next couple days. Take advantage of some good early season rising!!

We got 8-12” overnight and it’s still coming down heavily!! See Pete’s trail report in the post below (from 8AM) or on our website! Come see us this weekend and take advantage of this awesome snow AND the Fall cabin rates… in effect until Dec 15th!
Caberfae Peaks will be open this Saturday & Sunday from 10AM -4:30PM

33 Rd Staging Area–S of M-55–approx.. 3 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)
Caberfae Staging Area–approx.. 12 miles west of Cadillac on M-55 (watch for signs)
Boon Staging Area–park in plowed area south of Boon Grocery
Note: The porta-a-johns were removed from our staging areas today as our contracts on them expired 3-15-13.
WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> A major winter storm will continue to impact northern Michigan, bringing dangerous travel conditions to much of the area. Heavy snow and strong winds gusting to 45-55+ mph are expected to create localized blizzard conditions across open areas at times from mid-morning into early afternoon. Drifting snow may make travel especially difficult on secondary roadways. Power outages will also be possible, especially across areas that experienced icing on Sunday.
