HARBOR SPRINGS AREA UPDATE via Harbor Springs Snowmobile Club – 01/24 All of our trails were groomed last night, some of the corners are getting snirty but it’s still decent out there. We could really use some cold weather & more snow. Highs through Saturday are in the mid 30’s & lows right around 31 with a chance of rain, maybe snow on Friday. The weather apps keep changing, but we are keeping our fingers crossed for snow!! <> <> WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Gaylord Michigan >> Light lake effect snow showers over the northern areas of northern lower and eastern upper. Accumulation will remain light (less than 1 inch). By the weekend, a system will pass to our south Saturday and bring a round of rain/ snow to the region. As ridging builds in behind, temperatures should be warmer for Sunday, but another system is expected to move in for Sunday night into Monday.
