WATERSMEET / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via U.P. Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club​ – 4/2

Snowmobiling Season 2019-20 seems link it ended months ago not 2 days ago with all that’s going on in our world right now.

We had a great season with some of the best conditions we’ve had in awhile. Then March came and the warmer temps ended our season March 3

We have a small but truly dedicated and hard-working team that spent countless hours to provide the best trails they could. Drivers and Trail Boss THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

And to all of you, thank you for your support and encouragement through the season is truly appreciated!

Thunder Riders always has projects going on throughout the year, and we encourage (need) you to get involved. We will be brushing trails throughout the Summer so let us know if you’d like to lend a hand, anytime at all! Just give us a shout right here!
Again thank you to everyone who played a part in making this season a successful!

WATERSMEET / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via U.P. Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club​ – 3/7

Grooming was suspended March 2 due to ice and lack of fresh snow. The trails are very rideable right now but they are icy and road areas are bare. The trails do stay open until March 31. The temps are getting warm, the sun is out and melting will begin. Use caution riding during this time of the year, anything can develop very quickly, areas of water, dirt on the trails and some ditches may fill with water causing wash outs! Side Safe and RIDER. BEWARE!
