WATERSMEET / WESTERN U.P. UPDATE via U.P. Thunder Riders Snowmobile Club – 2/15
Trail Boss sent a driver out tonight. He is grooming Trail 3 from the WI Border to the turnaround north of Bond Falls and the east section of Trail 2 out from Watersmeet to the Trail 107. Should have his report on the condition in the morning. Positive side he didn’t turn around and go back to the barn as you can see on Groomer Tracker.

WEATHER UPDATE via US National Weather Service Marquette Michigan >> Expect mostly clear skies across much of the UP tonight, with cold temperatures giving way to another day of highs in the 20s to near 30 degrees on Sunday. A little groomer meeting!
Had Mike and Mac out yesterday, but Wyatt and Jay really hit it!
All trais in our system were groomed last night except Trail 11.

Trail #13 from Rockland to Trail #101.
Trail #101 to 12.
Trail #1 from 12 to Lake of the Clouds.
All were reported in very good to excellent condition.

ONTONAGON AREA UPDATE via Hamilton's North Coast Adventures >> Riding across the Ontonagon River bridge on trail 12 is a sight to behold! You soar 80 feet above the river on a dedicated section for motorized vehicles to use, how awesome is that?! It's one of the tightest groomer sections we have that provides very little margin for error. It's also a great view of Lake Superior, the Trapp hills to the south, and really lets you know how pro-snowmobile Ontonagon is. It's a tremendous destination full of amazing eateries like Up north cafe (best pancakes on planet earth), Syl's Restaurant, GiGi's Coffee and Sandwiches, Connie's Coffee and Subs, and of course the famous Roxey's Bar and Grill! Temp's remain cold with light snow seems like daily. Our operator that went up 102 last night had reported very poor visibility but once you get up in the hills, that's pretty much been a common theme this season.
Trail's covered last night/this morning. 102, 8w, 8e and 13s. Trail's are in good to great shape! Get out and Enjoy...
