Trails are shaping up for good riding. Just had some riders come thru and say the trails are in much improved from yesterday. Groomers are out and working hard. There are quite a few riders enjoying this Christmas snow. Hope you’ll be joining them soon.
Riders that went north yesterday enjoyed their ride but said up at Mackinaw the snow was thin.
Neighboring trails are being groomed. Hopefully we’ll get a chance sometime this week to get out and ride ourselves and then we can give you a personal report.
Many Christmas Blessings to all of you. We appreciate each and everyone that stays with us. Stay safe and come see us this winter.

The groomers have been out packing the trails and getting ready for Christmas week! Groomer Chris reported from his run last night that ‘Trail 8 East was pretty good, east of Reed & Green bridge a few thin spots. All in all, trail groomed very nice.’ Norm was going out this afternoon to push some snow into water holes and ditches around town. As of now, it looks like groomers may be going out tonight and tomorrow night. Christmas day is play day so groomers can take a run if they want.
Keep in mind, it is early in the season so the trails are not ‘perfect’ yet. Trail Boss Norm has the yellow flag out. There are a couple water holes on Trail 443. There are small saplings sticking up and you’ll see some small branches and stuff in the trail along with some icy spots poking out I’d expect in the open areas where the wind is blowing the snow around. It is windy so we have been getting lake effect snow off and on all day today. The thermometer says its 24 degrees but factor in the wind chill and it is about 11 degrees.
