Newberry Trail Report – 01/09

Trails are deteorating, and there may be some trees down due to the high winds we had Monday. We will not be on the trail until it cools down and we get more snow, so be careful. It doesn’t look good for the coming week, as temps may get up into the upper 30’s by Thursday.

Trail #9 to Pine Stump is in fair to good condition.

Trail #45 to the Falls has a tree down but passable. Low lying areas are now froze there are a few icy spots on the trail. the trail is in Fair Condition.

Trail #9/2 to Epoufette/Trout lake is in Fair Condition. Be carful just south of Rexton as there are rocks sticking up through the snow. We groomed to Epoufette, and to the power lines going to Trout Lake. There is not enough snow and the ground has not froze to allow us to go along the railroad Tracks.

THE NORTH STORE ON CO. RD. 407,WILL BE OPEN THIS YEAR.

The curfew for the Village of Newberry is 11:00 P.M. until 7:00 A.M.

FYI: There will not be gas at Rainbow Lodge as they are closed due to the Duck Lake fire. There is a gas pump logo on the trail map, but they will be CLOSED.
