NEW SNOW: – 1′-2′
The Big Rapids area did not get the Lake Effect snow that Grand Rapids or Traverse City received. There are only a couple of inches on the White Pine here. It is snowing today with mixed reports calling for 2′-5′ of new snow.
The White Pine trail is the former Railroad track stretching from Rockford to Cadillac. Not a challenging trail, but great for families with many towns to visit along the way.

Finally got our groomer back yesterday, groomed tail 12 east from Ontonagon to Greenland last night, will groom trail 12 west from Ontonagon to the Porcupine Mnts. today, Because we are down to 1 groomer wach direction will be groomed every other day, suppose to get our 2nd. groomer back next week. There’s 16-24′ of snow on the ground, and they are calling for snow through the weekend.Looking forward to another great snowmobile season in the Ontonagon area.
