Grayling Trail Report – Fay’s Motel – 01/31

Greetings Sledders,

Very quick update. We received a surprising 10+ inches today and more is in the forecast.

That said I’m going to upgrade conditions to good with the caveat that the base issues will be there but won’t pop up immediately and hopefully grooming efforts will make them a non-issue, although I don’t see us totally avoiding the water holes with these rigs, so a few spots will likely be ugly.

Grooming will resume Fri. and continue on a regular schedule until Mother Nature decides to have her way with us once again.

Ride Often and Please Be Safe,
Keith, Sandy and The Girls

At Fay’s Motel enjoy direct access to the Grayling Area snowmobile trails.

Ontonagon Trail Report – Scott’s Superior Inn – 01/31

Still snowing! and they are calling for snow all weekend. With much lighter traffic the trails are getting better, only problem is we are still down to 1 groomer, so the trails are being groomed west one day, and east the next, we are under a snow advisory for the next few days with a total snow fall up to 6-12′ on top of the 16-22′ already on the ground. suppose to get our 2nd. groomer back next week.

Looking forward to another great snowmobile season in the Ontonagon area. Check out Scott’s Superior Inn for your lodging needs (906) 884-4866

We are offering a 25% discount on all lodging, every day, no min. stay!!!!!
