Greetings Sledders,
I’m pleased to report that almost everyone that we talked to reported great rides over the weekend. The exception to that greatness part had nothing to do with trail conditions but was a function of four of our regular guests attempting to re-enact the recent I-75 chain reaction pile-up with their sleds and it didn’t work out so pretty good. Come on guys slow down a tad.
The last several days of Lake Effect coupled with yesterday’s 3" or so along with what’s in the forecast should make for good sledding all week and Thursday’s forecast looks like it will easily carry us through the weekend, at least as of right now.
We are grooming and have plenty to work with although the base is not as solid as I’d like to see but then again I’m a groomer junkie and very hard to please.
Overall rating is good.
Next report Wed-Thurs evening.

Trails are in great shape, seasonal roads are snow covered, seems like we are finally going to get a few good weeks of quality riding. Groomers have been out and the trails are in real nice shape. We didn’t see our normal weekend traffic on the Boardman. We think most of the riders coming north decided to go to the Blue Bear instead. This weekend should be the best riding on the Boardman we have seen all year. With the Amsoil Snowcross event at Turtle Creek casino, and other events in the area, we look forward to a busy weekend on the trails. Please keep your eyes on the trail and be aware of the groomer out on the trails. If your riding this weekend and have a sled break down or are looking for a 4 or 8 hour rental we do have a few sleds left for rent.
