Ishpeming Area Trail Report – Country Village Resort – 03/18

Weather: More snow and more snow expected. Forecast calls for several inches of snow over the next few days.

Trails: Being groomed on a regular basis and are great. Plenty of snow and not a whole lot of traffic right now. Very Good to Excellent overall.

Only a few weeks left in the season, come on up and ride!

Newberry Trail Report – Halfway Lake Resort – 03/16

28 inches on the snow gauge today. More expected. Josh and I rode today and the trails were awesome. I was honestly surprised. I have previously had a hard time rating them as excellent (based on guest reports) due to the warm days and lack of snow, but they truly are. Our groomers have been doing an outstanding job. The trails are hard, flat and fast! You really cannot hope for much better than they were today. We rode 9, 431, 443, 88, 43.

We are out of town, so we will be unable to provide a report until next weekend.

We are located 12 mi NW of Newberry and 7 miles S of Pinestump Junction. Between Grand Marais and Paradise.
